Many lightbulb and ‘ah-ha’ moments… the calm in the storm…
I initially engaged Eleanor after a faculty realignment with new managers being brought in to the leadership team. She developed a series of workshops so that we could understand each other’s natural strengths better and how we could operate using these as a team and bring the best out of each other. It was so helpful and there were many lightbulb and ‘ah-ha’ moments which continued long after her input. These workshops have supported the successful operation of the leadership team and we continue to see the benefits several months after the engagement as we continue to grow as a team. Eleanor has this innate ability to understand exactly how you ‘tick’ and therefore asks the right questions to take you to where you need to be and has a knack of squeezing out the insights and solutions that each person holds. Since the first set of workshops, I have invited Eleanor back for many more team workshops with different teams in my faculty, all of which have been very successful with the teams giving great feedback.
I have also used Eleanor for coaching in my own leadership development and have found it extremely useful in managing some difficult challenges I have faced during my career. She comes with a supportive, kind and fully open mind and it is so good to have someone to work through problems as they arise. She is direct, but at the same time very thoughtful and considered in her approach. No pussy footing around a situation, she will tell you what you need to know and when you are a deer in the headlights, Eleanor comes with reasoned and well considered observations as she coaches you through to a solution.
